Two scholarship awards of $1,000 and two of $500 to be presented to local high school seniors who are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Muenster, TX.<\/p>

Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>

Applicants must<\/p>

  • be a graduating high school senior<\/li>
  • be a registered member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church or enrolled at SHCS *be enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, University, or vocational school<\/li><\/ul>

    How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>

    • Complete application.<\/li>
    • Prepare a 300-500 word essay discussing the following prompt:
      • A Catholic\u2019s role in society: How are you called to live out your faith as a college student? As a Catholic, how will your adult life be influenced by your faith?<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Application must be received no later than May 1, 2024.<\/li>
      • Do NOT drop applications off at your school office as this may result in a late submission, which will not be accepted for scholarship consideration.<\/li>
      • Application and essay must be filled out below no later than 4:00 pm on the deadline date.<\/li><\/ul>

        Awarding of Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>

        • Scholarship announcement: Baccalaureate Mass<\/li>
        • Baccalaureate: May 15th 2024<\/li>
        • Scholarships will be awarded on a one-time basis and will not be renewed.<\/li>
        • Award will be paid after proof of registration at an institute of higher education.<\/li>
        • Incomplete applications\/essays will not be considered.<\/li>
        • Scholarship recipients are responsible for contacting Stacie Forshee at the parish office for instructions on receiving payment to your accredited 2-year or 4-year college, University, or vocational school of choice.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
